A Weirdo in Summer.

A Weirdo Moves
Technically, I moved in the latter part of April. But there's no need to quibble over specifics. After school-funded trips and a weird limbo between my parents' home and my new digs, I truly moved into my apartment around the end of May.
I have been in a constant state of organization. Removing things from boxes; sorting the things drawn from boxes; putting less necessary flotsam back into boxes; stacking the boxes in clever places; realizing those places are not so clever, and moving them again; being struck by wild falling boxes; tripping over boxes; swearing at boxes. My life became a series of puzzles revolving around diminishing the presence of cardboard boxes.
Additionally, moving was a process of discovering which appliances and fixtures I needed and didn't have. Many garage and estate sales were visited. I may have gone overboard on fancy little coffee-makers. Plot twist: I can't afford nice coffee. I nearly gave up coffee for the sake of my budget but there are some things that are worse than death and not having coffee is one of those things.
